Eigenmodes types of the metal-dielectric wedge

An eigen mode problem of the metal-dielectric wedge (horn) is analyzed. Dispersion equations and its numerical solution for different wave numbers have been found. Wave properties of the horn mode are being discussed. The field distributions in the transverse section are given. Results might be useful for designing of millimeter and sub-millimeter devices as well as for coherent optic systems.
