Implementa o de AVAs com Moodle no Projeto Letras 2.0 / Moodle VLEs Implementation in the Letras 2.0 ProjectKeywords: Instructional Design , Virtual Learning Environment , Learning Management System , Moodle Abstract: Using Learning Management Systems (LMS) as Moodle, one of the most popular softwares of its category in the world, to build Virtual Learning Environments (VLE) became a trend in modern higher education. This work tries to investigate not only the technological questions related to the instructional design of three on-line learning environments implemented with Moodle in the Letras2.0 Project of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, but their practical, pedagogical, and philosophical issues. Adopting a qualitative methodological approach, the data were generated from the direct observation of the environments, from interviews with the teachers and from the field diary of the researcher. The results suggest that the epistemological orientations of these courses were determined much more by the instructional design defined by the teachers than by the characteristics of the software and tools applied to the environments.
