Direct analysis of emission anions by ionic chromatography

In the present work we have developed the analysis method of fluoride and chloride anions released in stack emission sources by ionic chromatography. The purpose of this development is to answer the increasing request of the customers wishing to carry out quality air monitoring, which has become an environmental main topic through the last years. The anion chromatography system coupled to a conductimetric detector used to provide the analyses is exposed, followed by protocols employed to carry out all the analyses on the two anions.
