STUDENTS LEARNING MOTIVATION TO SCIENCE - BIOLOGY ON PRIMARY SCHOOL / Motivácia iakov u i sa prírodopis - biológiu na základnej koleKeywords: Student's learning motivation , Primary school , ROSE research , Student's interests of science education , The popularity of biology's topics between students , Pupil's attitudes toward science subjects Abstract: The report mediates the selected results of the wider conceived research ROSE by using the same-name questionnaire. The research sample consisted of 184 pupils of the nine year- class of primary school. The aim of the research was to find the pupil's interest of the biology subject (natural science), the popularity of individual content or themes of science education with the focus on biology, to map a picture about the level of pupil's interest of science education, about student's attitudes towards the difficulty their studies at primary school and the importance of the knowledge of science education for the future careers of pupils. The considerable findings are the priority preference of biology subject in science education of the pupils of the ninth class, as well as their preferences for topics of the human- biology. In conclusion, we recommend the teachers, that they focus the pedagogy on the pupil's themselves with the strong application of constructivist approach and the internal motivation in their recognition to make the science education more attractive.Príspevok sprostredkuje vybrané vysledky ir ie koncipovaného vyskumu ROSE s vyu itím rovnomenného dotazníka. Vyskumnú vzorku tvorilo 184 iakov deviatych ro níkov základnej koly. Cie mi vyskumu bolo zisti mieru záujmu iakov o u ebny predmet biológia (prírodopis), ob úbenos jednotlivych obsahov alebo tém prírodovedného vzdelávania so zameraním na biológiu, zmapova obraz o miere záujmu iakov o prírodovedné predmety, o postojoch iakov k obtia nosti ich túdia na základnej kole a d le itosti vedomostí z prírodovednych predmetov pre budúcu kariéru iakov. Vyznamnymi zisteniami sú záujmová priorita biológie v prírodovednom vzdelávaní u deviatakov, ako aj ich preferencie tém o loveku v predmete biológia. V závere odporú ame u ite om, aby pre zatraktívnenie túdia prírodovednych predmetov u iakov vyu ovanie zameriavali na samotnych iakov s vyraznym uplatnením kon truktivistického prístupu a vnútornej motivácie v ich poznávaní.
