Oribátidos (Acari, Oribatida) de las loreras (Prunus lusitanicus L.) de Extremadura (suroeste de Espa a) y descripción de una nueva especie de Cosmochthonius Berlese, 1910 (Cosmochthoniidae)

The oribatid mites from the “loreras” (Prunus lusitanicus L.) are studied, and a checklist of the oribatids of Extremadura (southwest Spain) is given for the firs time. It contains 147 species, one of them new to science, Cosmochthonius lusitanicus n. sp., is described. The species Sellnickochthonius formosus (Cooreman, 1947) and Peloribates perezinigoi Shtanchaeva, Grikurova & Subías, 2011, and the subspecies Cerachipteria digita digita Grandjean, 1935, are recorded for the first time from Spain. This fauna is compared with that of the Iberian Peninsule, and an iberian species key of the genus Cosmochthonius Berlese, 1910 is given. En el primer estudio de los ácaros oribátidos de las “loreras” (Prunus lusitanicus L.) de Extremadura (suroeste de Espa a) se han encontrado un total de 147 especies, de las que se describe una nueva para la ciencia, Cosmochthonius lusitanicus n. sp., siendo también la primera vez que se citan en Espa a las especies Sellnickochthonius formosus (Cooreman, 1947) y Peloribates perezinigoi Shtanchaeva, Grikurova y Subías, 2011, y la subespecie Cerachipteria digita digita Grandjean, 1935. Se compara la fauna obtenida con la ibérica y se dan unas claves de identificación de las especies ibéricas del género Cosmochthonius Berlese, 1910.
