EXTERNAL MONITORING AND EVALUATION OF SCHOOLS IN THE SLOVAK CONDITIONSKeywords: control activities of school inspection , monitoring and evaluation activity of the founders , public and civil control and evaluation , school board , school development Abstract: In this study we will look detailed at the process review and performance evaluation of schools. In doing so, we focus on control by inspection, the founder and public civilian control. In our review and evaluation of the schools is realising an inspection, which is independent in its activities. External monitoring and evaluation are carried out by the founders (public, government) schools - autonomous regions and municipalities. We provide partial results of research that reveals some of the findings especially from the power control and assessment activities of the founders. External monitoring and evaluation are carried out by the parents, pupils and public. We note the opportunities for participation of these factors on the boards of schools (municipal authorities) across the European Union and Slovakia, as well as different perception of their role and functions in the development of the school.V tejto túdii sa pozrieme detailnej ie na proces vykonu externej kontroly a hodnotenia k l.
