Vocational education in the period of transition

The following article presents the dilemmas connected with comprehensive, vocational as well as out of school educational system valid in Poland. It also concerns the question of being it applicable on the basis of existing educational methods and the methods of professional development. The analysis of the activities taken either by the Ministry of Education or other administrative bodies focused on the modernization of the whole system of vocational education in regard to adjusting it to the current situation on the labour market in the European Union.
