QUALITY AND AVAILABILITY OF HIGHER EDUCATION

The system of quality in higher education institutions means the process of permanent development of all activities. The processes in the institution have to be interconnected with objectives of long-term plan for the development and marketing strategy. It depends on the ability of management to define the indicators of evaluation of main processes such as education and research activities. A special target group in the learning process that requires attention and care are different cohorts of students. The aim of this paper is to present the policy of studies availability at Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica, with special emphasis on different cohorts of students.
