DELINEATE AGRICULTURAL REGION OF MALDA DISTRICT OF WEST BENGAL- SPECIAL REFERENCE WITH CROP CONCENTRATION.

The present paper is an attempt to delineate the agricultural region. The Malda district has a great variety of cropping pattern. The physical and non physical parameters have an impact on agricultural pattern. The distribution pattern of eight predominant crops of the district has been analyzed with a composite crop concentration scenario. The analysis has been made on the basis of block wise average data for the period 2001-05.
