REAL TIME SCADA MODEL FOR PUBLIC WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMDOI: 10.9780/22315063 Keywords: SCADA , Unity Pro , Intouch , IO server , SQLServer , Crystal Report Abstract: Real Time SCADA model for public water distribution system is a proposed model of area of a City (Kat Kat gate Aurangabad). The model has one water underground tank (storage tank) which stores the water and one tower tank (Pressure tank). The water is supply to the rows of houses which has eleven sites. Each site consist of one Value (ON/OFF), flow meter and pressure meter the value can to ON or OFF from the SCADAmain screen the flow of water and pressure is recorded in the database system (SQLServer 2008) which can be access through crystal report, the data is recorded for every one min and daily total of flow of water from each site is recorded at 11:58 pm. the model also record the total running hours of each motor. In the model one site is at higher height for which motors are connected for lifting the water to that site (Site 7).the model also indicates which site is ON or OFF, red for off and green for ON.The Ladder diagram program are made in unity pro 6.0 PLC software and loaded in the PLC. In Ladder program, automatic program for controlling value, motor is done, the PLC takes the real time data and store in the memory. These real time data which is store in memory is access by the SCADA software Intouch 10.1 through the IO server software. The data can be handle from the SCADA, there is a connectivity between the SCADAand data base SQLSERVER 2008 there data are save in the SQLserver 2008. There is a connectivity of SQL server 2008 with Crystal report 8.5 in which the reports are generated from a selected dates.
