Level of Academic Achievement of students at Elementary Stage of District Bilaspur of Himachal Pradesh

This study is an attempt to evaluate the level of academic achievements of students studying in elementary schools of district Bilaspur of Himachal Pradesh. The Flagship Programme in the name of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) of Indian Government to achieve the goal of Education for All in India was launched in 2000. Since the Goal of all the educational programmes is to improve the academic level of the students. So, to evaluate the output in terms of Academic Achievement the study was taken. It was attempted to evaluate SSA in terms of Academic Achievements of classes I, IV and VII students in three subjects' viz., Science, Mathematics and Hindi language. It is an attempt to see whether the input of SSA programme is contributing to Output and upto what strength.
