EFFECT OF GASES CARBONIZATION COMBUSTION IN THE GRAVIMETRIC YIELD OF Eucalyptus sp. WOOD

The work objective was to determine the effect of gases combustion of the carbonization, for reduction of the emissions, in the vegetable coal gravimetric yield, wood partially charred and fine. A system of over-furnace was used for doing the carbonization.It had 10 wood stereos capacity. The wood used for the study was Eucalyptus sp., 8 yearaged.According to the obtained results, the gases combustion did not influence the gain in vegetable coal, however it reduced the wood proportion partially charred and it increased the amount of fine.
