HAGIOGRAPHY AS HISTORY: A SURVEY OF MUSLIM HAGIOGRAPHY IN KERALA

Hagiographical documents are valuable source materials to understand the popular culture and local history of a region. So this paper tries to locate and document some of the hagiographical documents produced in Kerala by the Muslims about the Sufis, martyrs and other Gnostics.
