Severe chronic pain treated with ziconotide. Clinical case

The Author presents some cases where nonmalignant chronic pain patients were treated with ziconotide. The study started two years ago and at the moment three patients show important pain reduction (over 50% VAS) while the others left the study for the inefficacy of the treatment. The Author stresses that all these cases were unresponsive to other intrathecal neuromodulation treatments.
