Russian-style neoliberalism? Policies on information and propaganda in contemporary Russia

This article is based on an analysis of the media system that currently exists in Russia, and which was principally designed to keep the power in the hands of the country’s ruling elite. To that end, the author describes the policies on information and propaganda deployed by the Russian authorities over the past decade in a context of “authoritarian capitalism”.
