Die Medizinische Abteilung der Universit tsbibliothek Kiel / The Medical Department of the Kiel University Library

The Medical Department of the Kiel University Library provides the most comprehensive collection of scientific medical literature in Schleswig-Holstein and serves students, scientists and physicians of the Universit tsklinikum Schleswig-Holstein – Campus Kiel. Medical journals – mostly online – are managed by the Kiel University Library in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine. Due to changes in user behaviour and considerable needs for assistance new services are provided, for example a full-service document delivery – easy to use and free of charge – and specialized training courses. Renovation and modernisation of the building and library are scheduled for the next years.
