Globalization and Asian Fordisms

During the last decade, non-Japan Asia has emerged as a global region codetermining the processes of globalization. This article argues that there is an interrelation between the rise of the new Asias and the globalization of Fordism, especially with respect to the classical combination of Fordism and automobilism.
