Estimation of Travel demand from the city commuter region of Muvattupuzha municipal area

Transportation is a vital infrastructure facility for the economic development of a country. The estimation of accurate trip generation is imperative for a realistic planning programme. The idea in this paper is to prepare a trip generation model to explain the travel demand from settlements falling under commuting distance of an urban area.
