Geophysical data inversion of the Barreiro Alkaline Complex, Araxá (MG), BrazilKeywords: Alkaline complex , Geophysical inversion , Gravity , Magnetics. Abstract: This paper shows the results of the use of geophysical data inversion techniques to develop a tree-dimensional model ofthe Barreiro Alkaline Complex based on its response to the application of potential methods. The model shows a geologicallyviable subsurface distribution of physical properties, with a maximum density contrast of 0.45 g/cm3, and a magneticsusceptibility of 0.235 (SI), and good geometric matching, resulting in a body of about 4.5 km in diameter and a volumegreater than 37 km3, as well as a good correlation between the distribution of physical properties and the geological settingof the Complex.
