Assessing the Effectiveness of Learning-Teaching Physics Through Traditional Laboratory ExperimentsKeywords: Assessment , Physics Laboratory Abstract: Physics laboratory teaching is a part of the curriculum of undergraduate studies. An examination is conducted at the end of the course to evaluate the experimental skills. At present there are no standard diagnostic tests to evaluate the procedural understanding on laboratory teaching. Two tools: Tool-1 and Tool-2, consisting of 42 and 43 objective type questions respectively, were designed as a diagnostic test. The information provided by this test was subjected to item analysis. Here we report the results of the item analysis.
