Upravljanje s prostorom in pojmovanje vloge geodezije : Land Management and Comprehension of the Role of Geodesy

The role of geodesy in Slovenia in the field of land management is a product of the bygone socioeconomic system. The existing socioeconomic system and different perception od space, land and real estate, dealing with space as economic resource, enable and request a changed role of surveyors, which is to be found not only in surveying. The importance of land as an economic resource, and importance of the value of land and real estate call for a consideration of a whole new role of surveying in land management, which has established in several modern countries, upon which we, as a society, like to model ourselves.
