Izku nje geodeta na podro ju prostorskega na rtovanja v Sloveniji v letih 1987–2007 : Experience of a geodesist in the field of spatial planning in Slovenia during the period 1987-2007

The author of the article is an geodesist specialised in the field of spatial planning. The article brings an overview of his personal experience gained during his first twenty years of professional work in the field of spatial planning in Slovenia during the period 1987-2007. The article critically presents fields and basic themes of his professional preoccupation, evaluates knowledge gained during his study of geodesy at faculty in Ljubljana in the period 1978-1983, brings possibilities and practical range of interdisciplinarycollaboration in the field of spatial arrangement, relation between professional work and activities in experts’ associations and evaluates present social circumstances of geodesist’s activities in the field of spatial arrangement in Slovenia. Related to lisitedtopics the article also brings some suggestions aimed to improve (collective) experts’ qualification of spatialplanning-oriented geodesists and their social influence and role.
