Reconstru o óssea de maxila atrófica utilizando enxerto de ramo mandibular

The lack of bone in the alveolar ridges has been a great problem to the esthetic and functional rehabilitation of the patients. The autogenous bone graft is the best material for the reconstruction of the mandibular and maxillary ridges. The choice of the donor site, whether intraoral or extraoral, is related with the quantity and quality of bone graft necessary for each case. The aim of this study is to show a case of bone graft in the maxillary ridge and maxillary sinus by using the mandibular ramus as donor site, as well, and check the main characteristics related a surgical technique and associated complications.
