Mucocele labial: relato de caso em crian a de dois anos de idadeAbstract: Mucoceles are common lesions of the oral mucosa that result when a salivary gland duct ruptures. These ducts are subject to trauma and consequent laceration, with mucus extruding into the surrounding soft tissues. The lesion is seen mainly among children and young adults and has no predilection based on gender. It can develop in any location harboring a minor salivary gland. This article presents a case to mucocele in a child of 2 years of age, of traumatic origin. The clinical boarding of the case, and the treatment, will be told and argued.
