Tratamento clínico e bucomaxilofacial de quadro hemorrágico-alérgico por Lonomia sp: relato de caso

The present study reports the case of a patient presenting acute-hemorrhagic-allergic disorder after contact with Lonomia sp. Compromising of high airway due to obstructive inflammatory process distant of the local of contact with the insect, hemorrhagic extravasation, alteration of renal function, disturbances of blood coagulation and loss of oral function were present. Surgical procedures like cervical bruise drainage and tracheostomy were contraindicated. Aspects related to the etiology, diagnosis and treatment were reported and the support and clinical ways for this condition have been emphasized.
