Análise quantitativa da motiva o do paciente de cirurgia ortognática da ULBRA

Dental-facial surgical-orthodontic treatment can present functional, aesthetic motivationor both. Though, duo to aggressive orthognatic surgical procedure characteristic, knowing andunderstanding the motives that make the patients to choose this modality of treatment arerelevant. The aim of this study was evaluate 20 patients who were attended searching by orthognatic surgery in ULBRA Dentistry University (Canoas/RS). Information about age,gender, ethnical origin, civil state, school level, profession, remuneration, orientations aboutthe motive and treatment necessity was collected. Based on the results, a profile of the patientswho search ULBRAs orthognatic surgery ambulatory was obtained.
