Entre a concep o e a execu o: a percep o dos conflitos no cotidiano do arquiteto

This article aims to analyze the work activity of a group of architects working in a construction company in Brazil. Starting with the needs expressed by the workers, we investigated how they perceive the conflicts they experience in daily work and how these conflicts then present as harmful to health. We found that they are under enormous pressure regarding time and productivity, high workloads and conflicts caused by the difference between the requirements for construction activity and development of the projects. It becomes evident that the lack of recognition of their creative skills and the difficulties of communication with other social actors have caused physical and physical suffering for the group. In spite of the non-involvement of building company′s management, the results can be an instrument of social claim, it can gradually transform the reality of work.
