FINE STRUCTURE OF THE BOUNDARY TISSUE OF THE EPIDIDYMAL DUCT OF THE DOG (Canis familiaris, L.) ULTRAESTRUTURA DEL ESTROMA E INTERSTICIO DEL EPIDíDIMO DEL PERRO (Canis familiaris, L.)

The boundary tissue of the dog epididymal duct showed concentric lamellae of mioconnective tissue in which were observed elongated contractile cells, collagen, fibroblasts, fibrocytes, mast cells and amyelinic nerve fibers. This boundary tissue forms the periductal stroma and duct interstitium of the epididymis. The structure is described and compared with that of other mammals. El estroma e intersticio del epidídimo del perro se presentaron como un tejido conjuntivo, en el cual se presenta fibras musculares lisas, fibras colágenas, células conjuntivas, predominando fibroblastos, fibrocitos, mastocitos y fibras nerviosas amielínicas. La organización del tejido conjuntivo del conducto epididimario fue comparada con la de otros mamíferos.
