The contribution of prisoners of war of World War II in the development of professional musical culture of Siberia (Krasnoyarsk for example, 1914-1920.)

In this article, drawing on a number of unpublished sources, and historical studies analyzed musical creative activity POWs of World War II in Siberia in the years 1914-1920 and its contribution to the development of professional musical culture of the region. This paper mainly deals participation of prisoners of war in the musical life of the Krasnoyarsk the said period. But, as the facts show, in many other cities in the region in the years flowed similar processes of social and cultural interaction between foreign prisoners and Siberians. The findings of the study results significantly expand our knowledge of the musical reality of Krasnoyarsk 1914-1920 period. They can be used in the lectures of the course "History of Musical Culture of Siberia", introduced in the educational process in higher education institutions of the Siberian region. This work will be of interest to international scientific community for further multilateral study of this phenomenon.
