APPLICATION OF WOVEN ANTENNA IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE INTEGRATED APPAREL AND BEDLINEN

Heading for a largely improved interface between individuals and electronics, this paper presents enabling technologies for the integration of electronics into apparels for easy communication. For the realization of wearable electronics, a wireless communication device, silicon based micro- machined transceiver and a fabric antennaconcept for transmission and reception of radio signals are miniaturized and integrated into the apparel. A conducting fabric offers antenna performance that is as good as conventional antennas, while being inconspicuous and comfortable to wear. This work aims in work simplification and easier means of communication between personnel at same surroundings. The scope specifically covers patients confined to wheel chair, Bed ridden, defense personnel, constructional personnel and police Personnel.
