QUALITY OF SERVICE BASED TRUST MANAGEMENT SYSTEM-A REVIEW

As there is no centralized control in Peer to Peer systems, there are various security related issues which are faced in such systems. The anonymous nature of a Peer to Peer network makes it an ideal medium for attackers to spread malicious content. Trust management protocol for Peer to Peer networks provides various features that help the users rate the reliability of parties they deal with, and share this information with their peers. The protocol helps establishing trust among good peers as well as identifying the malicious ones. There are various Trust management systems which provide the trust facilities in Peer to Peer network. Some of the types are 1) Eigen Trust Algorithm 2) Reputation based Trust Management. This paper provides a Quality of Service based on the above algorithm by comparing the various attributes in the above algorithms. The study will provide anefficient comparison among the two algorithms.
