FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF A TORQUE TRANSDUCER

The paper discusses the finite element analysis of a torque transducer of 5 Nm capacity and points out the role of finite element analysis in design and development of torque transducers. A comparison with the findings of analytical method also affirms the role of finite element analysis. Hence, a rationalized approach for designing torque transducers has been presented here.
