Effect of the temperature and the culture medium on the productivity of two generations of dihybrid crosses in Drosophila melanogaster Efecto de la temperatura y del medio de cultivo en la productividad de dos generaciones hijas de un cruce Dihibrido en Drosophila melanogaster

In the present study we analize the productivity of the dihybrid cross +//+ e//e x vg//vg +//+ and its reciprocal, carried on up to the second generation under different environmental conditions: two culture media (maize and banana) and two temperatures (23 and 26oC). The differences were shown to be statistically significantfor the temperature in the first generation, the culture medium and the parental line in the second generation. At a general level, the significant factors were the temperature and the culture medium. Perhaps the genotipic effects caused by the parental line are balanced and masked, when considered at this level. The temperature of 26oC and the culture media of maize showed always the best productivity. En el presente estudio se analiza la productividad obtenida por un cruce dihíbrido +//+ e//e x vg//vg +//+ y su recíproco, llevados hasta la segunda generación, bajo dos condiciones ambientales: dos medios de cultivo (maíz y banano), y dos temperaturas de cultivo (23 y 26oC). Las diferencias estadísticamente significativas corresponden a: la temperatura de cultivo en la primera generación filial, al medio de cultivo y a la línea parental en la segunda. Sin embargo a nivel global, es decir al ana-lizar de manera conjunta las dos generaciones hijas y cada uno de los tres factores evaluados: medio de cultivo, temperatura y línea parental, los únicos factores significativos son la temperatura y el medio de cultivo; aparentemente los efectos genotípicos introducidos por la línea parental se equilibran y se enmascaran al considerarlos resultados a este nivel. En todos los casos se registró la mayor productividad para la temperatura de 26oC y el medio de cultivo de maíz.
