Se evaluo el efecto de un carbamato y de un metal pesado sobre la sobrevivencia, el periodo de maduracion sexual y la fertilidad en los microcrustaceos de agua dulce Daphnia magna y Daphnia obtusa. El valor de toxicidad aguda (LC50-48h) y el de toxicidadcronica (Valor cronico, VC) fueron determinados. Para D. magna La LC50 de Cr+6 fue 0.35 m/l y el VC fue 0.20 mg/l. En D. obtusa la LC50 obtenidad con Cr+6 fue de 0.04 mg/l y el VC 0.009 mg/l. Para D. magna la LC50 con Methomyl fue 0.10 mg/l y el VC 2.2x10-3 mg/l. Pa D. obtusa la LC50 con Methomyl fue 0.005 mg/l sin embargo la respuesta de los animales a concentraciones subletales fue irregular y por tanto el VC, por baja confianza estadistica, no se presenta. For D. magna LC50 Methomyl was 0.10 mg/l and CV 2.2x10-3 mg/l. Exposure of D. obtusa to Methomyl yielded a LC50 of 0.005 mg/l, and response of animal at sublethal concentrations were irregular, therefore CV statistical confidence was poor and not show.
