Abstract:

The temperature variation of a thermal electromagnetic model during microwave heating is investigated. The solution to the steady Maxwell equation is used in the unsteady Pennes Bio-heat equation. The Laplace transform procedure is adopted for solution. The results agree with the numerical work of El-dabe et al The results are discussed extensively with the display of graphs. Our results reveal that some tissue parameter provokes increase in the temperature profiles. In crease in time near the surface promotes increase in temperature but decrease near the core of tissues. These results are significant for effective hyperthemic treatment. The knowledge of tissue parameter is greatly essential before treatment to allow for preferential treatment of diseased tissues
