From politics on documentary to documentary politics: notes for a perspective of analysis. Da poltica no documentrio s polticas do documentrio: notas para uma perspectiva

Facing the upgrowing interest about the political dimension of documentary cinema, this article compares two ways of apprehension and points out some theoretical and methodological choices there implied. We emphasize the prevalence of representation as an analytical operator in the studies about the theme and practice the proposition of an alternative regard, which is based on the concept of distribution of the sensible as a central reference and it takes into account the ways of production or invention - themselves of the documentary politics. By the end, we present, for heuristic purposes, a brief analysis of Juzo (Maria Augusta Ramos, 2007), attempting to investigate the singular possibilities of political invention in the movie. Diante do crescente interesse em torno da dimenso poltica do cinema documentrio, o artigo compara dois modos principais de apreenso do fenmeno e aponta algumas escolhas tericas e metodolgicas a implicadas. Destacamos o predomnio da representao como operador analtico nos estudos sobre o tema e ensaiamos a proposio de uma visada alternativa, que tem como referncia central o conceito de partilha do sensvel e leva em conta os modos prprios de produo ou de inveno poltica do documentrio. Ao final, apresentamos, para fins heursticos, uma breve anlise de Juzo (Maria Augusta Ramos, 2007), buscando investigar as possibilidades singulares de inveno poltica sustentadas pelo filme.
