MFBLP Method Forecast for Regional Load Demand System

Load forecast plays an important role in planning and operation of a power system. Theaccuracy of this forecasted value is necessary for economically efficient operation andalso for effective control. This paper describes a method of modified forward backwardlinear predictor (MFBLP) for solving the regional load demand of New South Wales(NSW), Australia. The method is designed and simulated based on the actual load dataof New South Wales, Australia. The accuracy of discussed method is obtained andcomparison with previous methods is also reported.
