Athény a Solón – objavenie zákonov (Athens and Solon – Emergence of Laws)Abstract: The article provides an overview of the proceedings of the archaic period of Athenian lawgivers which finally leads to the classical period and the organization of the city state. The author discusses the basic historical background of the emergence of the first laws. He briefly focuses on Dracon’s laws treating the significance of Solon’s reforms and finally discusses the scope of Kleisthenes’ territorial and political changes.
