Abstract:

Evaluation of the performance of the face detection/recognition algorithm in the heterogeneous INCA+ camera platform is concern with face recognition which is one of the visual tasks which humans can do almost effortlessly while for computers it is a difficult and challenging task. The applications of face recognition are increasing in a number of domains. Recently, a rapidly growing demand has evolved for face recognition as part of surveillance system or user identification. Therefore, face recognition has been selected for skeletonizing an application. It includes parallel face recognition operations. To recognize a face from an image, first, it is necessary to separate it from the image, and then, it should be recognized from a data base of known faces. Here face recognition process is divided into two parts: face detection and face recognition and this part are contains various heterogeneous features of face recognition and detection from image.
