Application of Knowledge Management and e-Learning Integration Mechanism

With the rapid growth of information technologies, our economic society and life are changing significantly in this digital age. The digital revolution in our world is spurring on facilities, hardware, software, services, and capital investment. In order to keep competitive advantage in the times of digital economy, more and more countries and enterprises pay more and more attention to the development and application of information technologies to help collect and diffuse the knowledge. This paper will investigate the application of the knowledge management and e-learning integration mechanism to logistics industries. The integration of knowledge management and e-learning is performed by building a virtual learning community. A virtual community can build an interactive learning environment for people. This helps the integration of knowledge management and e-learning. The concepts of developing and constructing virtual learning communities for logistics industries will be investigated in this study.
