Synthesis of platinum and palladium complexes with bis-(hydroxy imines) Síntese de complexos de platina e paládio com bis-(hidroxi-iminas)Keywords: complexos metálicos , paládio , platina , bis-iminas Abstract: The Schiff bases are an important class of compounds well used as ligands in coordination chemistry. The functionalized bis-imines, that represent a specific group of Schiff base, have been studied in our research group both for the evaluation of biological activity, against fungi and cancer, as for organocatalyst. Here the bis-imines 1 and 4 were synthesized in good yields by condensation of hydroxylated benzaldehydes with phenylenediamines. After that they were matched with Platinum and palladium salts providing three metallic complex (2, 3 and 5) that were fully characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance and mass spectrometry with electrospray ionization. Now these complexes are being tested in cross-coupling reactions of Heck and Suzuki. As bis-iminas funcionalizadas, que representam um grupo particular de bases de Schiff, vem sendo estudadas no grupo de pesquisa, tanto para a avalia o da atividade biológica, contra fungos e cancer, quanto para a atividade como organocatalisador. Nesse trabalho as bis-iminas 1 e 4 foram sintetizadas em bons rendimentos pela condensa o dos hidroxi benzaldeídos com fenilenodiaminas. Posteriormente, foram compatibilizadas com sais de platina e paládio, fornecendo três complexos metálicos (2, 3 e 5), totalmente caracterizados por ressonancia magnética nuclear e espectrometria de massas com ioniza o por eletrospray. No momento esses complexos est o sendo avaliados em rea es de acoplamento cruzado de Heck e Suzuki.
