The Study on Modern Logistic Management Model for International Companies with Outpost Factory

In response to the trend of efficient global economy, constructing a global logistic model has garnered much attention from the industry. Location selection is an important issue for those international companies that are interested in building a global logistic management system. This paper will be based on six different strategic roles of overseas sites proposed by Ferdows with focus on site selection, strategy, operational emphasis and a related case study on the logistic management model for international companies with outpost factory. There will be an in-depth analysis on the information structure, strategic structure and factors of practical implementation of the outpost factory. This study can become an useful reference for companies interested in establishing a global logistic management system.
