COMPRESSION BEHAVIOR OF POLYMER CONCRETE BY USING DESTRUCTIVE AND ULTRASONIC WAVE TEST AT 26 KHZKeywords: Unsaturated polyester , Polymer Concrete , Fiber , Ultrasonic wave. Abstract: Polymer concrete is a composite material realized with resin and aggregates. In this study, the unsaturated polyester composite resin was used for binding the aggregates. In the composition were introduced near the silica foam as filler and glass fibers.Some mechanical properties of polymer concrete have been investigated, by destructive and non – destructive method. The experimental results of non – destructive method were correlated with compressive strength. The fiber percentage and silica foam was constant, the unsaturated polyester resin and the Silica sanddosages were varied. This research was conducted at 26 KHz.
