CRISIS ON THE TRADITIONAL CONCEPT OF INTERNAL SECURITY OF THE STATEKeywords: National security , state security , internal security , Westphalia state , post- Westphalia state , euro Atlantic integration Abstract: The concept of national security is one of the so-called old, traditional approaches to security. In its center is a "survival" of a sovereign state, its territorial integrity and political independence (sovereignty) to be protected by diplomatic, intelligence and militarycapacities, i.e. ability to deter military aggression or to respond to her successfully. Therefore, justified it is called-the concept of national security. In real socialist countries under the state security meant more security and status of protection of the state ofpolitical crime and safety (socialist, communist) regime in power. Therefore, national or state security, was generally divided into so-called shared external (security against armed aggression) and internal (security regime and the state of the internal enemy). Today, in terms of Euro-Atlantic integration, the traditional concept of national security has changed radically. The focus of the modern concept of national security is the security of the state, society and individuals from danger, which protects by a multitude of state and nongovernment entities, military and civilian, national and international sector, as well as state participation in the spheres of international and global security. The idea of internal security was replace by so-called concept of comprehensive security that protects even the so-called societal security, social security, national unity, national dignity and pride, national identity, energy security, environmental security, economic security, social security, nationalinformation resources and other state and national values.
