WHAT MALE THINKS ABOUT FEMALE EDUCATION? CASE STUDY OF SARGODHA DISTRICTKeywords: Socioeconomic conditions , female employment , socialization Abstract: Education is considered as a process of socialization that persists from birth to death. Education is a process by which the socially approved parts of culture, values and norms are transmitted from generation to generation and in this process the acquired knowledge is shared by the members of society. The intension of present study is to explore the perceptions of the male towards female education and employment. The study interviewed 200 respondents from five union councils of Sargodha districts. Results investigate that as age increases there is less rational behavior towards female employment. Moreover, as education level increase it will increase the rational behavior towards female education and employment.
