TRENDS, CHANGING COMPOSITION AND IMPACT OF FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT IN INDIA

This paper studies the evolution of FDI from being a small component of total industrial investment in India to becoming a major economy booster. It observes the changes in its composition, factors that attract it and effects of its fluctuating behavior on the Indian exports. Regression analysis is the primary statistical tool employed to determine growth rates and relations between economic variables.
