Sol-gel derived optical waveguide films for planar sensors with phase modulationKeywords: sol-gel , silica-titania film , dip coating , planar waveguide , planar sensor Abstract: The paper presents the results of investigation of the technology of optical waveguide films produced with the sol-gel technique. The silica-titania films were deposited on glass substrates by a deep coating method. The influence of withdrawal speed and aging time of sol on the refractive index and film thickness has been tested.
