WAS ZIMBABWE COMPETITIVE IN INTERNATIONAL TRADE 2000-2009?

Zimbabwe has gone through the period of prosperity when the country was considered the bread basket of Southern Africa to a net food importer. This paper attempts to examine whether Zimbabwe was still competitive or had a comparative advantage in international trade during the crisis period 2000-2008.
