Romancear o passado para glorificar uma dinastia: a vers o catal das gestas dos condes de Barcelona e reis de Arag o

In this article we analyse the Catalan version of the Deeds of the counts of Barcelona and kings of Aragon. Having translated this document into Portuguese, we can observe that the narrative not only describes the succession of kingdoms, but that it also offers additional information on the counts-kings. Thus, we work with the sequences containing this information which refer to the principal historical themes of the dynasty of the counts of Barcelona.
