Implicaciones de las nanotecnologías en el empleo

Research on the social implications of nanotechnology has hardly addressed the topic of labor, despite the social importance of the subject. Based on an analysis of the characteristics of nanotechnology products that are already on the market, this article shows that nanotechnology will have a significant impact on employment distribution among sectors, the international division of labor and skill requirements for labor, causing destabilizing effects on employment at the national and global levels.
